Prayers for son, Brian, for job -2nd Interview Weds., Sept. 28th Prayer Answered
9/30/09 Brian felt the interview went well today & was told he would hear back on this by Friday. Please keep praying. This is the job Brian really wants to have since it is in retail and he would like to get back into that. Good location, and mostly days, so he would still be able to see his children. He has not been told the salary yet, but praying it will be sufficient to meet his financial obligations.and so that he will be able to have a good future. Thank you Lord for hearing all of the prayers on Brian's behalf. Lord, I also pray for others that are looking for work to find good jobs to care for their families. In Jesus precious and mighty name, Amen. May God's blessings be upon you brothers and sisters in Christ.
9/28/09 Brian will have a phone interview this Weds, Sept. 30th, at 11:00 a.m. This is a 2nd interview with this co. with the Regional Mgr. Prayers will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks & God Bless!
9/27/09 Brian has two possible job opportunties, though only one offered so far. He is to have a 2nd interview with a regional mgr. over phone Weds, though time has not been confirmed yet. This is the one he believes he wants - more growth opportunities. However, he doesn't want to jeopardize the one that has been offered, as he very well may need to take it, even though it is more factory related (receiving). Please pray for wise decisions. 9/22/09 The phone interview that didn't occur last week, rep. called yesterday and Brian found that the job, after training, would have been in IL & so he declined to pursue, as he can't move that far from his children. But he did have an interview for a full-time retail dept. mgr. position today and it went well. However, he must still be interviewed by the company's Regional Mgr. and is awaiting a phone call. Prayers much appreciated! Thank you all so much!!! God Bless you!
9/20/09The phone interview never took place, he couldn't get ahold of the person; however, this is maybe just as well, as eventually he may have had to move & I know he wants to stay in the area because of his children. The interview on Fri. went well -- but it ended up being for a part-time person, soooo, the lady was good enough to call another one of their stores in the area and so now Brian has an interview with that person on Tues. at 11:30 a.m., so please pray for that one - full time retail dept. mgr (we think). He should also hear back on the receiving job this week, but the retail job would be closer and better hours. He does not know the pay yet, but there is opportunity for growth here. He thinks this is the one he is most interested in right now. Dear Father in Heaven, please let the right offer come forth soon for Brian. Thank you Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.
9/17/09 Brian has a phone interview on Thursday for a management trainee position, though we are not sure where it might take him and will also be attending at job fair in Ft. Wayne, IN later in the day. Also he has an interview Fri. at 9:00 a.m. in a nearby town (this is not a mgmt job but is in retail and full-time). Please pray that good contacts will be made at the job fair as many good companies will be represented there. Thanks so much!!! 9/13/2009 No job offer yet, prayers still appreciated please. The interview went ok last Fri - but they will be doing 2nd rounds this week. Will have to wait and see if he gets a call. He did receive another call on Friday for what we are hoping may be another interview. He missed the call & will find out details Mon. Thanks prayer warriors!! God Bless you!
9/9/09 Brian rec'd. a call today for an interview this Fri. for a mgmt.trainee position! Praise the Lord! We are hoping this is the one that will come through, but are waiting on the Lord for answers. Thank you so much for all of the prayers, I know something good will happen soon. God is good!!
9/8/09 His interview went well & he received a tour as well. No offer yet though. He also has another interview at a different co. on Thurs., it is factory related as well. May God lead on, In Jesus precious name, Amen.
9/6/09 Brian has an interview on Tues. a.m., for a company he interviewed at several months ago. They have now started to pick up, so we are hoping that he may now get hired. It is not a mgmt or supv. job, but rather "Receiving" and it would enable him to support his children & pay his bills, so he is willing to do this. I thank you for all prayers on his behalf. God is listening. And, I pray for all those who are out of work and need jobs that the Lord will lead them to find suitable employment & bless their families. Thank you Father. 8/22/09 Found that he was not eligible for unempl. benefits because it was a temp agency he was working for. Thanks for all continued prayers on Brian's behalf to find a good job.
8/20/09 Unempl office wants Brian to come in for more info. He will go there tomorrow, please pray that he can receive benefits until a new job is found. He applied for approx. 8 or 9 new jobs online today. Some of them were really something he was interested in doing, although a couple were factory. Please pray for an interview soon & a good job offer. Thank you so much for all the prayers. God Bless you!
8/16/09 The job fair was for a factory job, but if that is what the Lord has for him for right now, then I pray that he receives it. If He has a management job around the corner, then that would be wondeful too. Lord, may your will be done. I also pray that he receives good news regarding the unempl that he applied for.. should hear within next few days. 8/13/09 Brian is attending a job fair this morning. Praying for good news. Thanks for all your prayers.
8/3/09 Brian came back to no work today. Although the temp agency & the place he was working approved his week off to go with our family for a week up north together, he was told that the truck they had been waiting on the week before arrived finally last week and there was so much work they had to hire another temp worker. Since he was only a temporary, he now has no job - even though they told him he was a good worker and if something else opens they would ask for him back. The agency does not have another job at this time. He will go to unempl. office tomorrow to see if anything is available that he hasn't already applied for and to try to get benefits based on the previous position he worked over the last year, as he really needs to be able to support his 3 wonderful children. Maybe it wasn't a good idea for everyone to go away for a week, but since it was approved by his co., we were all so happy everyone could be together for the week. It is the first time he had been able to be with his children for that length of period in over a year, since he normally has them only on weekends & when he can for a few hours here and there during the week. Anyway, Brian has a business degree, retail management experience, as well as sales, and prayer would be appreciated for a good solid job with benefits to come his way shortly. 7/21 The temp job our son has been working has had fewer hours this week, so prayers would be appreciated for 8 hour work days and hopefully soon a better permanent job. The good news is that he was approved to go with us on a family vacation for a week, so evidently it is good timing. He will be able to have his three beautiful children for the week as well & I know he is looking forward to this. We appreciate all the prayers lifted up on his behalf. Thank you and God Bless you!

Still no sales this week - even the trainer who came in for one day had no sales. Economy is probably not right for this job. He is not giving up yet, but did put some apps in via the computer on Friday and has an interview on Monday for a management trainee position in retail. Other positions he applied for sound good too, so prayers that something with a steady income opens for him very soon would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

Sales job is not going well & training has virtually come to a standstill. He is hoping to have several 2nd interviews this week with other companies. Please pray that a good job opens soon for him. Thank you so very much! On the plus side, he has been spending alot of time with his children! Spring break this week too, still, he does need steady income to provide for them. Blessings to everyone & have a great week in our Lord!!

Brian had a 2nd interview with a good, solid company he would like to work for on Friday. This is for a management trainee job. It is a salaried job, that he really hopes he can get. Your prayers for this would be much appreciated. Heavenly Father, you know Brian's financial shape right now and that he needs a good, steady job, one wherein he can pay his child support, his bills, and a place to grow with. If this is the one Lord, please let him be asked to start really soon. Thank you Father. Please help all those who are looking for jobs too. In Jesus precious and mighty name, Amen.

Brian has a possibility of getting a factory job. Concern is this is not his forte at all and probably won't last long. I have to wonder if this is God's will, still maybe there is a lesson to be learned or at least it would be a way to help provide for his children until something comes along. Father in Heaven, I pray for you will in Brian's life in all things and trust you to lead him to the right job. Thank you Lord. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

This particular job fell through because co. is holding off hiring due to it's relation to auto industry. However, Brian had another interview last week that he is hopeful about. Will hopefully hear something this week. Thank you for all the prayers.

Brian received a phone call yesterday, and was offered the retail dept. manager job that he was hoping to receive. Although the pay is not great, it does offer benefits and after six months on the job, can go into a "Manager Trainee Program" so that he will then hopefully be able to move up within the company. So, this is a great opportunity for him. The job will start on the 12th. So we are so thankful and Praise God for this awaited answer to prayer. Now, you will see that I posted a new prayer today for him for his health. Heavenly Father, thank you for this opportunity for Brian. It is a job that he believes he will enjoy. Father, we trust that the extra week Brian has to wait to start the job is to his benefit to restore good health to him. Thank you Father. All praise be yours. In Jesus precious name, Amen. Dear Kathleen, I'm so sorry you are having a tough time. Yesterday I was sad too, missed my family that has passed on...but today was much better. Early church, then spent afternoon with family around, park watching our son, daughter & grandkids play freeze tag...then a little "HORSE" basketball for the guys.. even Fred played..I played with the girls instead, ran bases with Trinity (& she gave me a huge head start and I think "let" me win., and slid down kiddie slide with Luke & Libby! My daughter taught me how to make beaded necklaces & had good food, plus cake & ice cream. Much fun!!! I will pray that tomorrow will be better for you. Where is Robert? WINK Here's a HUG for you. Hi, dear Terry, what is the news - except that my friend Harry neurotically but at least returned to Prayabout, making not only me but the whole community delighted??? What about Brian's job? What about your health? My veggie soups turn to be worse and worse every day - I don't know what the problem is with me but the dogs are already really fed up whith the everyday veggie-SOUPly... What can I do? I take it as my learning period but these silly doggies are not as understanding as I am. Dezs? almost bit me yesterday when I poured one of my most terribly tasting soup-poem into his jar! He was agitated all day after he ate part of it - what could he do? no other food was available... Kushia is very tolerant, he had only a mild temper tantrum but calmed down quickly after I gave him a few pieces of teacake... Too baaaaaaaad!!! I need to buy a vegetarian cookbook verrrry sooooooon!! So I cannot send you recipes yet, sorry! But I can make many different teas, I am a very intentive tea-expert! For example I put blueberry jam into Earl Grey tea with a little honey. Exxxcellllllllent! What a pity that my dogs are rather coffee fans... Anyway, I feel so strange this weekend... I delivered LOTS of flyers everywhere in the neighbourhood to let everybody know about my house being on sale... I hope it will result in increasing interest in my house! Hope_in_Christ advised me - among other frIeNds - to pray to St Joseph, what I DOOOOO!!!!!!!! I would have been happy to join you, believe me!! It was a very good SONday, I slept a lot this weekend - OK, I was tired from delivering the flyers, but it was not the reason. Sometimes I just feel I want to sleep because my dreams are extremely comforting - so many inner changes happened to me lately and as if they were built into my system in my sleep... It is so wonderful, I cannot tell you what it is like to feel healthy, happy, without pain - NO WORD TO TELL!!! So yes, lately my every day is very nice, relaxing... ;-) ? and sunny too! But if it is not, my Fisherman Friend takes care of sending the dark into hell by his shining candles... I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! Dear Terryann, tell me how you feel healthwise! I am so glad you are feeling so great!! Yeah!! And sometimes one just really needs to catch up on their sleep. (I should have done that this weekend. Instead, I worked my 2nd job, but at least it is at home & I can do laundry at the same time)!! I joined Facebook recently & though it is fun, I can't post like I'd really like.
